Esaja recently took part at the Zimbabwe Clothing Manufacturers Association’s annual Clothing Indaba. The event was highly spirited as the industry’s players and partners from as far afield as South Africa got together. Zimbabwe’s textile industry has faced stiff competition from the Far East as is the case across the region and is on a recovery path. Esaja’s participation at the event was through Toserudo Enterprises who have embraced the platform. Toserudo operates a state of the art factory just outside Zimbabwe’s capital city. The company’s core business is the provision of school uniforms, industrial and corporate wear. Prior to the event, Esaja toured the factory and worked hand in hand with the company’s principals to set up their presence on esaja.com as they look to expand into the region. As expected, signing up to Esaja was quick and easy.
On exhibition day, Toserudo not only displayed its products but co-exhibited with Esaja.com. The company’s profile and products on the platform were showcased to attendees. Toserudo believes in embracing technology and served as an example to industry peers. It scooped a runners up prize for its display booth. Esaja is honoured to have been a part of its triumph and looks forward to greater achievements ahead.
A few Kodak moments from the event are as follows:
